• provide additional financial support for public education in Jessamine County
• enhance the Board of Education's ability to fund projects that promote excellence in teaching and learning

Foundation is a strong advocacy group to:

• foster a vision of educational excellence in Jessamine County Schools
• Foster a vision of a "Community of Learners" striving for a countywide culture of educational excellence
• encourage broad based citizen, business, and government support for educational excellence
• strengthen the involvement of both the family and the community in education
